The air assist of co2 laser engraving machine is used for blowing air to prevent the material being burned while cutting.
When laser cutting some kinds of material, it would produce sparks which makes the material burned or melted. To fix this problem, every thunder laser cutting machine equips an air pump, the air pump would send the compressed air to the laser head and blow on the material directly. This compressed air would reduce the material burning and melting, besides, it helps to blowing the cutting dust away from the laser head to avoid polluting the focus lens and keep the lens be durable on laser cutter.
